The Rodeo Public Library

Whyte Rose & Violet, Scribes

Ellen Ekstrom has been invited to return where it all started - the place where she found the passion for writing, which is the Rodeo Public Library in her hometown of Rodeo, California.

This appearance is all about WRV's backlist of titles. Ellen will read selections from historical and fantasy fiction, and literary titles, and introducing Whyte Rose & Violet Scribes works in progress: "George of Grasmere," the prequel to "Armor of Light" and "Ascalon;" "The Shambles," the third and the final book about Alice and Quinn in The Midwinter Sonata series; and "Swannsaeld," a story of 1066. Copies of her books will be available for sale.

The event starts at 5:00 p.m. on December 12, 2019, at the library (if you've read the "Midwinter Sonata" books you'll know why that date is important!), located at 220 Pacific Avenue, in Rodeo, California.

Our thanks to the Contra Costa County Library System for making the invitation.

Hope to see you there.
